Women’s Duet

Ischenko/Romashina (Russia) were absolutely dominant in this event, proving their status as pre-event favourites to be correct. They led in both the technical and free disciplines. Xuechan/Wenyan (China) were quite clearly in second, but Inui/Mitsui (Japan) had to overcome a deficit, after the technical routine to Ananasova/Voloshyna (Ukraine) to win the bronze.

Women’s Team

The team event went very similarly to the duet event. Russia were incredible, scoring a huge 99 in the free routine to seal the victory. China were once again comfortably in second. Behind them, Japan had a small edge over Ukraine to win them bronze.
