Duet
Kolesnichenko/Romashina (Russia) led qualification by over three points. They scored over 97 points in both the free and technical, with no one else managing to score 97 in either discipline. Xuechen/Wenyan (China) would come closest with a 96.233. Heading into the final the real battle looked like bronze, with Fiedina/Savchuk (Ukraine) edging Inui/Yoshida (Japan) in qualification by only 1.5. The Russians would improve their free score to 98.800. The other teams in the top four would also increase their score but not enough for any movement in positions.
